My Projects

425sqm A Grade Office, Potts Point

Discover the story of finding a diamond in the rough. Nestled just behind Kings Cross Station, this property had a rich history, serving as an old liquor shop for the past 50 years and , before that, an old fuel station with a bowser on the street. Thje interior was a complete mess low ceilings, rising damp, and moisture in all the walls. However, through a transformative process, I turned it into an exciting 425sqm office showroom. Talk about turning challenges into opportunities and uncovering the potential of hidden gems!

The Victoria Room, Darlinghurst

From a blank canvas that was once a mere panel beaters' shop on the first level, I seized another golden opportunity. Turning a 685sqm space with a tin roof, concrete fllor, and an old timber car driveway entry- initially resembling a wasteland - I crafted it into the most sophisticated and exotic boudoir the world had ever see. This space soon became the goto venue for Sydney elite & haven for Hollywood movie stars while in Sydney. The impact reverberated beyond these walls, transforming the entire street below from a seedy stripof low-end retail into a chic food retail and cafe strip. It's a testament to how one transformation can elevate an entire neighbouthood!

Jones the Grocer, Woollahra

Hand me a 300sqm dilapidated office and storage facility just around the corner from Woollahra village NSW, and I'll turn it into the most renowned food retail haven with the most successful food retail opening Australia has ever witnessed. The allure doesn't stop there- the two levels above attracted significant businesses, securing grade-A tenants. And let's not foget the overall increase in property value, making it a truly transformative and valuable endeavour.

Bon Bon Fine Chocolate, Strand Arcade Sydney

Imagine this aging shop reborn as a grand chocolate salon, a haven where imported and locally crafted exquisite chocolate products take ceter stage. Adorned with wall images depicting the tales of old explores ini pursuit of the fines cocoa, the ambiance is further enriched by 350kg chandeliers. The twisted wrought iron handrail, meticulously crafted by one of the Saddam Hussein's trusted tank repairers and finished with brass plating, adds a touch of historical craftsmanship. This chocolate sanctuary promises an unparalleled experience, seamlessly blending decadence, history, and artisanal excellence for chocolate enthusiasts.

Meatworksco Smokehouse, South Melbourne

Transforming a 230sqm panel beating shop in an old cobblestone laneway into a steampunk inspired 120-patron smoked BBQ restaurant & bar was no small feat. Utilizing 6 tonnes of section & plate steel, expertly pop riveted and welded togeher, it exuded a shipwright waterside dock ambiance. It's no surprise that htis unique metamorpjosis earned a covted spot on the shortlist onin the 2018 Restaurant & Bar Design Awards in London- a true tesament to the art of repurposing and creating truly extraodinary spaces! the ripple effect has seen other watrhouse conversions emerging in the laneway, turning it into a hub for significant real estate investments.
